Chicken or egg? Now you don’t have to decide. Charm the whole family with a chickadee in each bowl or with twin beaks if you’re using quail eggs. Experiment with eggs of different sizes and types to get a whole family of chirpy little chicks and a great tasting centerpiece.

Step 1

Hard boil egg.

Step 2

Cut a slice of carrot into a heart shape for the rooster’s comb and a smaller triangle for the rooster’s beak.

Step 3

Slit the hard-boiled egg to secure the carrot pieces and place the sesame seeds for the rooster’s eyes.

Step 4

Add radish or any leftover carrots as desired to get even more colour in your bowl!
